In Acts 17 Paul preaches the gospel in three different cities. When the gospel is preached to them the people of the city each respond to the word of God in different ways. The gospel has a polarizing effect. The same message that one person is encouraged by will enrage another. In these cities we see a picture of the way that people respond to the gospel today.
