This second sermon in the series titled, “Corinthians,” focuses on the revelation of spiritual truth. We learn and understand more about God’s word through the revelation done by the Holy Trinity. During Paul’s letters, he didn’t debate with the Corinthians, instead, he preached for the glory of Jesus Christ.

In the scripture, God’s wisdom is referred to as a mystery. God chooses when to reveal the mystery of His wisdom to us. One way he reveals His wisdom, is through the word. When we pray and ask for guidance while studying His word, God sends His Holy Spirit to help reveal to us the truths contained in His word. Like Paul, we must take ourselves out of the equation and make Christ our focus, as we read through God’s word.
