This Wednesday night sermon brings us to the church at Pergamos. When God addresses this church, He explains that He knows that they were a fighting church, but since false doctorines had slithered their way into the church, they have stopped fighting.

God reminded the church that He would be fighting alongside them, so long as they stood against these false doctorines. Much like this church, today, our church is threatened by false doctorines and it is our responsibility to stand against them. Just as He promised the church at Pergamos, God will stand beside us, and our reward for standing against false doctorines in His name, will be great.
