When word comes of the wicked Haman’s plot to destroy the Jewish race, Mordecai immediately sends word to Esther. Mordecai wants Esther to go before the Persian king and plead with him for the lives of her people. The problem is that if Esther went before the king uninvited she could lose her life. Instead of immediately accepting the task before her she tries to put off what God has placed in her life to do. Sensing her reservation, Mordecai tells Esther that it was for this purpose that she was come into the kingdom. This was her time. This was the moment that God had prepared her for. It was time.
Often we as the children of God attempt to put off the things in our lives that God has called us to do. We are afraid. We are unsure. We are unwilling to step out in faith and follow through with the plan God has for our life. In this message our pastor put it as simple as the message title explains, “It’s Time.”
