On a ship bound for Rome, Paul and other prisoners are guarded by centurions. Shortly after the beginning of the voyage, Paul informs the crew that if they continue on with the voyage, the ship and their lives would be in danger. However, the centurions ignore his plea, as the south wind blows softly, and they sail on. Shortly after, they are met with the storm Euroclydon, one of the worst storms ever recorded on the sea. By the end of the storm, the crew lose everything but their lives.
During our lives as Christians, we are faced with storms. Some are terrible Euroclydons, some are mild rainstorms. No matter what the damage, we are to trust God and His plan for our lives, regardless of how soft the south wind blows.
