This sermon in the series “Corinthians,” focuses on the importance of maturing in our walk with Christ. Paul wrote to the Corinthians that he wanted to reveal deep spiritual truths to them, but until the church could mature, these truths would not be received.
When we first begin as Christians, we are like infants. We stumble and bruise, and we are corrected. However, the most important thing that we can do is mature. Paul made it clear that the Corinthians needed to deal with the spiritual immaturity within the church before they could accomplish God’s work. Just as the Corinthians, we must move past the infantile stage of our Christianity and move forward in our walk with Christ.
