The last sermon in the series “Glimpses of Grace” deals with the trespass offering. This offering was given to God when someone had overstepped their boundaries with God by committing a trespass. The trespass offering was not just an offering, but it included a confession to God and asking forgiveness from the person who was wronged.

When we trespass, we are not only disobeying God, we are harming another. So many of the trespasses mentioned in this chapter are overlooked easily today, however, they are still considered sin in God’s eyes. It is important that we make the steps towards reconciliation with God and one another by confessing our sins to God, and asking forgiveness from the person we have wronged. Only when we clear the sin from our hearts can God’s Holy Spirit reach out to us and change us for the better.
