In Genesis 17 God appears to Abraham for the fifth time to reaffirm the promise of a child. At almost 100 years old Abraham wonders if it is even possible for him and his wife to have a child. Therefore Abraham ask God to just bless Ishmael instead.

Many times we make the mistake of trying to trade tomorrow’s blessing for what is right in front of us today. In this message we will see three reasons that we cannot do that.
