Several times in the last hours of the life of Christ a word pops up. As the gospel writers describe the last days and hours of Christ the word rock is mentioned over and over. If the people held their praise Jesus said the rocks would cry out. When Jesus died the rocks were rent or broken. Finally when Jesus is laid to rest we are told that they placed Him in a new tomb that was hewn out of a rock.
