The Finish That Is Not Final

On Paul’s final journey, he reaches his destination, Rome. Paul fellowships with the brethren during his two year incarceration, preaching the Gospel to all that would hear it.

Although Acts closes with the assurance that Paul continued to preach and teach anyone who was willing to listen to God’s word, it did not truly end there. Because Paul obeyed God, he was granted the opportunity to preach to those he knew truly needed to hear the Gospel. God also gave Paul the gift of fellowship during the hardest times of his journey, appearing to Paul more than once to assure him he was going to make it to Rome. Just like Paul, it is important for us to fellowship with one another to help lighten the load for our brothers and sisters in Christ, and to encourage one another in our walk with Him.
