The fourth item furniture in the tabernacle was the candlestick. The candlestick was beautifully made at the hand of master craftsmen under the leadership of the Lord.

In this sermon we discover that the candlestick is the a picture of the “Light of the world”, Jesus Christ. The solid gold body, the seven branches, and the oil used for burning all picture Christ. We also learn that the candlestick does not only picture Christ, but it also pictures the church. Just as Jesus was the light of the world He has called upon us to be the light of the world.
