Six days before Passover Jesus and His disciples attend a dinner in the home of a man named Simon. During the dinner Mary of Bethany presents Christ with an alabaster box filled with expensive ointment. This gift is met with some criticism, but Jesus silences the skeptic by saying that what Mary did was an act of faith. Mary of Bethany understood what even the disciples had not yet grasped. Mary knew that Jesus was going to die and that He would rise again. Therefore what Mary did she did in preparation for the very first Easter.

In this sermon we look to Mary and learn three things that we need to do in our own lives to make preparation with for Easter.
