In this Sunday morning sermon, our attention is brought to a selfless, and what some thought of as small gesture. Among the crowd of the rich giving their offerings of large amounts of money, comes a poor widow with a small amount. As she throws her coins into the offering and turns to leave, Jesus notices the giving, and begins to talk about the wonderful act that He had witnessed in this giving.

Jesus called attention to the widow not because she had only given a small amount, but because she had given everything she had to give, regardless of how small some might have thought it was. The widow gave her all and trusted God with everything she had. Because of this, she will have a blessing in heaven. As Christians, it is our duty to God to always give our all. God expects this of us because He has given us His all.
