Being blameless and devoted to God, Zacharias and Elizabeth were barren. However, they refused to let unanswered prayers distract them from serving a loving God. After many years and many prayers, Zacharias and Elizabeth were just as devoted as they were when they first prayed together. For their faithfulness, God gave them a son.
