In this Mother’s day sermon, we learn the importance of being a Godly mother. Bathsheba speaks in Proverbs of the qualities of a virtuous woman of God. According to Bathsheba, this woman is hard to find, confident, prepared, and should be praised.

A Godly woman is trustworthy to those around her, so much so that her own husband can safely trust her to be faithful in all she does. A Godly woman prepares herself and her own family for whatever might face them. By burying herself in the word of God, and seeking His path, she is always prepared for whatever may face her. Because this woman is such a strong influence on those around her, she should be praised for her virtue and wisdom. Her children shall call her blessed, as well as her own husband. Most importantly, a virtuous woman shall be met with praise in heaven for her duties here on earth.
