Paying the Price

Have you ever wondered why you are struggling with something and someone else is not? Why your Christian experience may seem different than another Christians? Why the price your paying is not the same as another’s? We all have our own story to tell and they are all unique and different.

The book of Acts is a book of characters. The story of Acts is told through the eyes of men like Peter and Paul. In this book we meet me like Titus, Timothy, Silas, and Barnabas. The twelfth chapter of the book of Acts tells the story of three men. While these are three unique men they all have one thing in common. They all pay a price in chapter twelve.

One man pays the price of service. James is killed simply for serving Christ. The second man pays the price for supplication. Peter is delivered from prison because of the prayers made for him. The last man pays the price for sin. Herod is killed by God for the wicked life he lived.
